Activities

[Author - Arshea Bimal, Kripa S]

1. Any 5 students run from one point to another (fixed distance) one by one. Record the time taken. The Speed of each student is the distance run divided by time taken.

2. Any 5 students hop from one point to another (fixed distance) one by one. Record the time taken. The Speed of each student is the distance hopped divided by time taken.

3. Any 5 students walk from one point to another (fixed distance) one by one. Record the time taken. The Speed of each student is the distance walked divided by time taken.

4. Take a stone, tie a thread to it and whirl it with your hand. Observe the motion of the stone. We see that the stone moves along a circular path.
