  1. Students get to learn aboout various animals and their living styles, nature, their behaviors.

1. Ask students to identify - one animal, one insect and one bird around their homes or school and prepare detailed study of their behaviour (like how they look, how they eat, what they eat, where they live, how they make their home).

Lesson Plan version 1.1 activities

1. Students will start keeping a Diary or Journal, noting their observations of insects and animals they come across in the next few days and report their observations the following class period.

2. Students write a letter to their local municipal chairman requesting him/her to clean the nearby pond or canal in their neighborhood and to use mosquito control spray to help kill disease causing mosquitoes.
