Objective: To teach the different methods of separation of substances.
Subtopics to be covered:
- Methods used to separate mixture of solids. (Hand picking, Winnowing, Sieving, Magnetic separation)
- Methods of separation of insoluble solids from liquids. (Sedimentation, Decantation, Filtration)
- Methods of separation of solid substances dissolved in liquids. (Evaporation, Condensation)
