Activities

[Author - Kripa S]

1. Count the number of students in your class. Count the number of students in your school. Count the number of children in your village. Count the number of stars in sky at night. How big can the numbers be? Is there any biggest number after which there can be no other number? Discuss and share

2. Write down random digits on your benches, eg: +4, -2, -6, +5 etc. Ask a student from one bench to tell a number. His friend will go to the bench he is asked to go and tell what is the number for his bench now. Then pick another student from another bench and repeat this step. Play this game till all benches numbers get changed.

3. Ask all students to write a number on their hands with the + or - sign (eg: +3, -4 etc)  When the class assistant or the teacher shouts out a number, the students have to group themselves so that the numbers on their hands add up to the number asked for. A student who does not get any partner is out of the game. Play the game till we have a winner

On 17th June, we reviewed the Homework given to the kids. Not all kids completed the homework. I have asked Ravi to help them in those questions. Some of the new kids need a bit more attention.

Today, we completed some of the topics on Integers.
