Ask a student to list out their one complete meal. Classify parts of the meal according to nutrients: proteins, carbohydrates and fat. Ask students to give a few more examples of food containing each of the nutrients.

1. Teacher can ask students to perform caustic soda test for detection of proteins on pulses powder. (Refer textbook Activity 2 on Page 8) Discuss the observations in class.

1. Why Raheem’s restaurant started losing customers?

2. What did he do to get the customers back?

3. Raheem threw away all his food after a Rat entered his kitchen. Why did he do so? What would have happened if he someone would have eaten that food?

4. Discuss about the characters of Raheem and Sohail.
