Lesson Plan version 1.1 activities

1. Can do paper folding activity. Divide children in to four groups. Let each group gets 4 A4 sheet of papers.

For Intersecting lines

Ask them to take first A4 sheet of paper and fold it as shown in the figure and later unfold and crease them on the lines. Let them understand they are intersecting lines.

Parallel lines

Ask children to fold the second A4 sheet along its breadth once and again fold them on second time. Unfold it and crease them with pencil. Tell them they are parallel lines.

Perpendicular lines

Ask children to fold the third A4 sheet vertically and horizontally. Unfold them and crease them. Tell them where they meet are perpendicular lines

Concurrent lines

Ask children to fold the fourth A4 sheet as many times as they can but it should be through one point. Unfold them and crease them. Tell them all the lines are concurrent lines
