Adverb Clauses

Dear Volunteer Teacher,

We have provided learning outcomes and an abstract for the grammar topic along with lesson outlines, worksheets and ppt deck.
Thank you.

Abstract

An adverbial clause, sometimes referred to as an adverb clause, is a group of words that, together, functions as an adverb. Unlike other types of clauses, an adverbial clause is always a dependent clause. This means that it cannot stand on its own as an independent sentence.

See how adverbial clauses and adverbs compare in these examples:

  • He cooks food weekly.
  • He cooks food before he leaves for work every Sunday.
  • Eagerly, my brother agreed to the business proposal.

Lesson Outline

A lesson outline along with learning outcome has been provided to help you plan and teach a topic.

PPT Deck and Bilingual Video

Slides have been created and bilingual videos for every grammar topic have been curated. This could act both as a visual and auditory teaching aid and help students learn better. We request that you add on to the slides as per your classes’ requirements.

Worksheets

The worksheets provided have to be used as a Logic Building Exercise. By virtue of worksheets, kindly teach children how to think. Their logic will build up as they try to figure out solutions and answers by themselves.
