- Students know about the importance of balanced diet

- They know about the types of carbohydrates/proteins/lipids

Ask a student to list out their one complete meal. Classify parts of the meal according to nutrients: proteins, carbohydrates and fat. Ask students to give a few more examples of food containing each of the nutrients.
