Objective: To teach the students about how substances are seperated from mixtures

- Methods of seperating substances from mixtures

Learning Outcome:

- Students know about the various methods of seperating substance (Threshing, winnowing, evaporation, etc.)

- They know about miscible and immiscible liquids

1. Pick a pair of students. Ask each student to name a common liquid. Now say that you will combine the two liquids into one vessel. Ask a third student for an idea to separate them.

3. Ask the students for some real life examples of the various methods of separation.
