Lesson Plan version 1.1 activities
 
 
1. Teacher can ask students to make a simple firki with paper.
 
 
2. Ask students to perform the activity of putting empty bottle in water to understand that air is present everywhere. Video demonstration- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H3PxZfJPrpE
 
 
3. Give balloon to each child and ask them to blow it. Discuss why it inflates.
 
 
4. Ask students to keep some salt on paper outside in the rainy season.
 
 
5. Ask students to keep burnt candle in the glass jar and one candle open.
 
 
6. Take some water in a glass or metal container. Heat it slowly on a tripod stand. Well before the water begins to boil, look carefully at the inner surface of the container. Do you see tiny bubbles on the inside?
 
  
7. Take a lump of dry soil in a beaker or a glass. Add water to it and note what happens Do you see bubbles coming out from soil? These bubbles indicate the presence of air in the soil.
