- Parts of plants that are edible

- Methods of preparing food

- Preservation of food

Learning Outcome:

- Students know of the various ingredients and varieties of food

- They can identify various sources of food and how to preserve them

- They can name a few preservatives that are commonly used

- They are tell the various methods to prepare food
