Objective: To be able to calculate/ measure time in various daily life situations

Subtopics to be covered:

  1. Introduce the method of measuring/calculating time in daily life
  2. Explain hour, minute and seconds hand of time. Concept of AM and PM
  3. The concept of leap year, number of weeks in a year, days in a year, month etc.

Learning Outcome:

  1. Students can solve time word problems and calculate the time taken to do various activities
  2. Students can identify leap year and solve days and date word problems
  3. Students can identify and differentiate the time with reference to AM and PM
