Objective:To teach the students about Air, Water and Soil Pollution

  1. Air Pollution (Sources of Air Pollution, Natural sources, Man-made sources, Air Pollutants, Acid Rain, Ozone Depletion, Control of air pollution)
  2. Water Pollution (Sources of water pollution, Purification of water)
  3. Land Pollution (Sources of land pollution)
  4. Science Today ( Uses of bio-plastics, Pollution Patrol, Polluting the Planet, Solution)

Learning Outcome:

  1. Students understand the causes of pollution and the serious outcomes.
  2. Students know alternate "Green Ways" to save the natural resources.
  3. Students are able to differentiate biodegradable and non-biodegradable materials and are able torecycle them.

1. Try to collect samples of water from a tap, pond, river, well and lake. Pour each into separate glass containers. Compare these for smell, acidity and colour.
