Activities

Lesson Plan version 1.1 activities

1. Can use marbles or different color balls in a glass jar to show arrange of atoms

2. On a chart paper, list symbols of elements with Latin names or country or scientist names and as to how it is derived from ,by using different color sketch pens in groups of 5 students each

3. Students make a chart of some of the most common compounds with their chemical formulae and display in class

4. Students must make a list of valency of different elements on a chart paper in groups of 4 each

5. With the help of a wire, bulb and battery show them how metal conducts electricity.

6.Students are told to collect some metals and non-metals and shown to class the next day
