1. Take out your water bottle and place it on the table. The water in the bottle has potential energy (to show potential energy). Now shake
the water bottle or pour it into a cup. The moving or flowing water has kinetic energy (to show the kinetic energy)
2. Potential Energy – Take a ball and place it on the table. The ball now has potential energy
Kinetic Energy – Now 2 children sit opposite each other and roll the ball towards one another. The moving or rolling ball has kinetic energy.
3. Take a paper or cloth and make it wet. Place it outside under the sun and it dries after an hour or two because of the solar energy from
the sun.
