Objective: Explain how to construct a quadrilateral based on given information

Subtopics to be covered:

- 4 sides and 1 diagonal

- 3 sides and 2 diagonals

- 3 sides and 2 included angles

- 2 adjacent sides and 3 angles

Learning Outcome:

- Students can construct a quadrilateral based on given measurements in one of the above 4 categories

1. Take 2 pens or sticks on one length and 2 more of a different length. Make a rectangle using these 4 sticks. Push two opposite side sticks a little changing its angle from 90 deg. Is it still a rectangle or is it a parallelogram? Push the newly formed shape to the other side to make a different angle. Would it then be called a rectangle? Share your views.
