Objective: To learn about food wastage, spoilage, storage and types of storage of food

Subtopics to be covered:

1. Find out the food items that are preserved in your house and how is it done.

2. Discuss what is adulteration of food. What steps can be taken to avoid this.

3. Ask a student to list out their one complete meal. Classify parts of the meal according to nutrients: proteins, carbohydrates and fat. Ask students to give a few more examples of food containing each of the nutrients.
