2. Divide the class into two groups and play the game 'tug of war'. We need a big rope. One end of the rope will be towards one team and other end to the other team. Let the two teams pull the rope and pull the other team towards them. The team that applues more force and pulls the team wins the game.

1. Write some scenarios on the board (such as a man pushing a box, a crane lifting metal scarp with the help of a magnet and etc), and ask the students to come up to the board and identify the type of force and classify it as contact or non-contact.

2. Penetrate a piece of paper with the pointed end of a pencil and then with the blunt part of the pencil. Observe when more efforts are required.

3. Give each kid a balloon, and ask them to burst it using their finger, once they fail ask they to pierce with the pen’s pointed nib. Thus showing the relation between contact area and pressure.

4. Instruct to fill the syringes about half with water.

• Put the hollow rubber tube from both sides at nozzles of the syringes as shown in the figure.

• Ask the students to push the plunger of one syringe inward, the pressure exerted through it will push the plunger of other syringe outward direction.

• Now as a student to push both the plungers inward with the same force. There will be no movement in the plungers because the amount of pressure on both sides is equal
