1. Share examples of cube, pyramid, sphere from daily life. (example: ice cream cone, moon, ball, dice, brick etc)

2. Make different closed 3D shapes using 12 pens or sticks.

Lesson Plan version 1.1 activities

1. Use erasers or boxes to build a cube and extend a couple of cubes to form a cuboid.Let the children touch and feel an object to understand face, edge and vertex.

2. With a sheet of paper construct cylinder, cone and crush the paper to form a sphere(ball). Let each kid do and feel the shapes.
