Subject Verb Concord

Dear Volunteer Teacher,

We have provided learning outcomes and an abstract for the grammar topic along with lesson outlines, worksheets and ppt deck.
Thank you.

Abstract

Subject Verb Concord: It means that the subject and verb should be matched in such a way so that meaningful sentences are created. In other words, when the subject is singular, the verb will also be singular, or when the subject is plural, the same goes with the verb too. Being one of the most interesting topics in grammar for class 10, let us look at an example below.

 • Incorrect: A bouquet of red roses lend freshness in the air.
 • Correct: A bouquet of red roses lends freshness in the air.

Lesson Outline

A lesson outline has been provided to help you plan and teach a topic.

Learning Outcome: Examine and apply the rules for subject-verb agreement Identify and correct errors in subject-verb agreement

PPT Deck and Bilingual Video

Slides have been created and bilingual videos for every grammar topic have been curated. This could act both as a visual and auditory teaching aid and help students learn better. We request that you add on to the slides as per your classes’ requirements.

Worksheets

The worksheets provided have to be used as a Logic Building Exercise. By virtue of worksheets, kindly teach children how to think. Their logic will build up as they try to figure out solutions and answers by themselves.
