Lesson Plan version 1.1 activities

1. Take a hibiscus flower and identify the parts by dissecting it. Dry the parts by pressing them in between the pages of a notebook. Stick the parts separately and label them. Write their functions.

2. Dissect a carpel and identify ovary, style and stigma. Collect the ovules and observe them under a lens.

3. Cut small pieces of stem or a branch of a rose or hibiscus plant. Plant these cuttings in plastic bags or earthen pots filled with soil. Pour water regularly. Observe.
