Dear Volunteer Teacher,

The lesson plan provides an overall picture of what you need to teach. It is recommended that you follow the objectives and the learning outcomes stated in the lesson plan.

We suggest that that you read the chapter thoroughly and research on how to teach the topic effectively to meet the learning outcomes.

Kindly note, while the lesson plan is a guide to teach, you can also add your own teaching elements to enhance the learning process of the children.

1. Make 8-10 chits of different types of angles. Hand over one chit to one bench and ask them to enact what angle they are. Eg: If it is an acute angle, the students will stand close to middle student, if it is an obtuse angle, the students will stand far away from the middle student. If it is right angle, the students will stand on his one side and in front to depict 90 deg.

2. Make a team of 2-3 students. On student draws an angle and other student has to measure, third student will confirm if the measurement is correct. Repeat this step 4-5 times. This way the students can learn how to use a protractor
