Objective: To learn about past tense, present tense and future tense

Subtopics to be covered:

- Use of verb in a sentence

- Difference between past, present and future tense

- Verb Tense chart with simple past, simple present and simple future tense verbs

- Label verb tenses in given sentences

Learning Outcome:

- Students can identify verb and its tense in a given sentence

- They can write a sentence in past, present and future tense with a verb

1. Divide the class into two teams- one for active voice, and the other for passive voice. Do some activity (like bouncing a ball, or lifting a book). Ask the teams to frame the sentence in active/passive voice.

2. Conduct a quiz for the two teams (Team Active and Team Passive), with simple questions like the inventor of the bulb, author of harry potter, etc. The active team should answer only in the active voice, and the passive team in the passive voice.

3. Call out three students. Each person has to be given a subject/verb/object (Eg: Anu, write, letter). Ask them to create sentences in both active and passive voices using these three words.

The children have difficulty reading and have a limited vocabulary so simple 3 tenses is enough one list of words with simple 3 tenses is needed

Even I agree to teach only the basic three tenses as children should become first perfect in these three.
