Objective: Revise 3D and 2D shapes, reading a net of an object and draw the 3D shape

Subtopics to be covered:

- 2D figures, 3D shapes and their connection

- Different ways to view a 3D object (top, front, side)

- Faces, Edges, Vertices for a 3D object, Euler's formula

Learning Outcome:

- Students can identify different 2D and 3D shapes

- They know to read, or draw the different views for a 3D shape

- They can solve problems based on 3D objects using Euler's formula

[Author - Kripa S]

1. Share examples of cube, pyramid, sphere from daily life. (example: ice cream cone, moon, ball, dice, brick etc)

2. Make different closed 3D shapes using 12 pens or sticks.
