1. Make a measuring scale on a wall till 150 cm. Measure the height of every student in your class on that scale. Compare who is taller than whom

2. What is the difference of height between the shortest and tallest student?

3. Share how many people live in your village. Discuss with your friends on the count. Whose count is more correct? Learn about approximation in this activity

Lesson Plan version 1.1 activities

1. Say the smallest number and the biggest number you know.

2. Oral drill of saying bigger numbers (6-digit, 7-digit, and 8-digit numbers).

3. Estimate the numbers and round-off the numbers; Give examples and ask the students to estimate and round-off the numbers.

4. Ask the students examples where they think bigger numbers will be used.
