Objective: To teach students the need of light to see objects and how shadows and images are formed

Subtopics to be covered:

  1. How we see objects
  2. How are shadows formed
  3. Straight line motion of light (a pinhole camera and magnifying glass)
  4. Difference between shadows and images

Learning Outcome:

  1. Students know how light is needed to see objects
  2. They know how shadows are formed and which object form shadows
  3. They know how light travels
  4. They know how images are formed
