1. Ask students to identify for which of the following measurements a triangle cannot be drawn and why?
- Construct ΔABC in which AB = 4 cm, BC = 5cm and ∠B +∠A = 130°.
- Construct ΔMAN with MA = 4 cm, ∠M +∠N = 80° and ∠A = 100°.
- Construct ΔPQR such that QR = 6 cm, ∠Q =∠R = 90°.
- Construct ΔABC, ∠B +∠C = 90, and BC = 6 cm; AB = 5 cm.
2. Divide class into 2 teams. Ask both the teams to give measurements to the other team in the following form, on the basis of which triangles can be drawn -
- Three sides of the triangle.
- Two sides and the angle included between them.
- Two angles and the side included between them
- Hypotenuse and one adjacent side of a right-angled triangle.
