Objective: Learn relation between 2D and 3D shapes
Subtopics to be covered:
- Difference between a 2D figure and a 3D shape
- Vertex, edge and face for a 3D shape
- Convert a 3D shape into a 2D figure and vice versa (nets)
- View of a 3D shape from top, from a side , from front
Learning Outcome:
- Students can identify whether a given shape is a 2D plane figure or a 3D solid shape
- They know to draw 2D figure for a given 3D shape
- They can draw a front view, top view or a side view 2D figure for a 3D shape
