Objective: To teach the students the scientific concepts of Temperature, Heat and the transfer of heat through conduction, convection and radiation. Students learn about the nature of thermal energy, temperature and how materials store thermal energy.

• Measurement of Heat

• Quantity of Heat Dependency

• Measurement of Quantity of Heat

• Change of States due to Heat

• Effect of Heat and Heat Transfer

• Use of Thermal Properties of Matter/ Objects

Learning Outcome:

1. Students can explain that heat is the flow of energy from hot materials to cold materials.

2. Students identify Conduction, Convection and Radiation.

3. Students are able to list examples of each type of heat transfer.
