Objective: To explain properties of triangles

Subtopics to be covered:

- Types of Triangles based of sides and angles

- Theorems/ Properties of Triangle

- Congruence of Triangle

Learning Outcome:

- Students can identify type of triangle from given set

- Students can solve problems on triangles, based on the properties learnt

- Students can tell whether two given triangles are congruent or not

1. Can a median of a side of triangle be out of the triangle ? Try and see.

2. Draw one equilateral triangle, one isosceles triangle, one scalene triangle. Find their altitudes and means. What is common about them?
