Objective: To teach the students about the changes in matter and its nature

Subtopics to be covered:

  1. Differences between physical change and chemical change
  2. Crystallization
  3. Sublimation
  4. Change of States
  5. Rust
  6. Acids, Bases and Salts - Types/Properties/Uses
  7. Natural Indicators
  8. Neutralisation

Learning Outcome:

  1. Students understand matter and changes that alter the nature of materials
  2. Students can classify changes as physical change or chemical change
  3. Students can make a list of items that we use at home and classify them as acid, base or salt
