[Contributor - Swathi Raman]

1. Potential Energy – Take out your water bottle and place it on the table. The water in the bottle has potential energy. Kinetic Energy – Now shake the water bottle or pour it into a cup. The moving or flowing water has kinetic energy.

2. Potential Energy – Take a ball and place it on the table. The ball now has potential energy Kinetic Energy – Now 2 children sit opposite each other and roll the ball towards one another. The moving or rolling ball has kinetic energy.

3. Solar Energy - Take a paper or cloth and make it wet. Place it outside under the sun and it dries after an hour or two because of the solar energy from the sun.
