1. Make a measuring scale on a wall till 150 cm. Measure the height of every student in your class on that scale

Lesson Plan version 1.1 activities

1. The class assistant can help the teacher in coordinating the students for these activities.

a. Move the furniture out of the way. Line up 4 students behind a line on the floor.

b. Have students take a jump as far as they can. Measure how far they jumped from the line.

2. Measure the classroom. Check how many students measured correctly.

3. Measure each other ,height,hand, foot arm or hand.

4. Playground measurement:

Measure the distance of the swing seat from the ground.

This way measurement can be taught in different ways to make the children understand better.
