Objective: Explain properties of squares and square roots

Subtopics to be covered:

- Squares from 1 - 20, square roots for numbers till 100

- Properties of squares- digits ending with 1,4,5,6,9,0

- Non perfect square numbers between two squares

- Square root by factorization method

- Square root by division method

Learning Outcome:

- Students can give the squares of any number

- Students can find the square root of any number by one of the two methods

- They know the properties to identify squares for a number

1. Make a chart of squares for numbers 1 to 20.

2. Make a chart of numbers whose square roots are from 1 to 20

3. Make teams of two students each, where one student will ask square of a number, and other student will ask square root of a number.
