1. Make 3 groups of 5 students each. Any 5 students run (or hop or walk) from one point to another (fixed distance) one by one. Record the time taken. The Speed of each student is the distance run (or hop or walk) divided by time taken.
2. Identify which of these movements are uniform or non uniform
a) Movement of hands of a clock.
b) A boy cycling in a crowded place.
c) Movement of a housefly.
d) The fan in an air cooler running at fixed speed
e) A train entering into a railway station.
f) Flying of kite in air
3. Take a stone, tie a thread to it and whirl it with your hand. Observe the motion of the stone. We see that the stone moves along a circular path.
