- Galaxies – Milky Way
- Stars and its various types
- The Solar System (including the sun, planets, satellites, asteroids, comets and meteor)

- Students know there are innumerable galaxies in the universe
- They know about our galaxy – the Milky Way
- They also know about the solar system and its various celestial bodies

Divide the class into groups of four/five. Ask the groups to make a model of the solar system using objects around their house like scraps of paper, spare string, rocks etc
