Activities

1. https://www.youtube..com/watch?v=Aq8uy9qxiTI (Pressure Magic)

2. Divide the class into two groups and play the game 'tug of war'. We need a big rope. One end of the rope will be towards one team and other end to the other team. Let the two teams pull the rope and pull the other team towards them. The team that applies more force and pulls the team wins the game

Lesson Plan version 1.1 activities

1. Take a small stone and a bucketful of water.

Drop the stone into the water from a height of about 20 cm. You will hear the sound of the stone dropping in the water. Now drop the same stone into the water from a height of about 100 cm. You will hear its sound again.

2. Take two sacs, one empty and one filled with some flour. Try to pick them up one by one on your back. Do you feel a difference?

3. Place a magnet on a table. Take a big iron nail towards the magnet. It sticks to the magnet.

4. Take two pieces of smooth paper and two of sandpaper and rub them against each other.

5. Do at least one of the following-

I. Spread small pieces of paper on a table. Rub a piece of thermocol or an inflated balloon against silk cloth and bring it near these pieces.

II. Rub a plastic comb against dry hair and repeat the above activity.

III. Rub a peacock feather between two pages of a notebook and bring it near your fingers.
