Activities

1. Count the number of classmates of the opposite gender in your class and represent the same in the form of percentage.

2. Represent the number of hours in a day you spend in school in the form of percentage.

3. Ask the students to represent what percentage of their family are they. (Ex: if there are 4 members in a family, the percentage would be 25%)

4. (i) Line 10 stones up in a row. If you give 2 stones to your best friend, what fraction of stones do you still have left? (ii) Line up 9 stones in a row. If you give 3 stones to your best friend, what ratio of stones do you have left? (iii) In which scenario do you retain a lesser percentage of stones?
