1. If you walk fast you will reach finish line sooner or later? How to check? Keep a walking race. 5 Students walk from one end of classroom to other end of the room. See who reaches first. How is speed of the student related to time here? Discuss and share.

3. Ask students to count their heart-beat count in one minute. Display stop-watch to keep track of seconds. Ask students to note their heart-beat count and demonstrate briefly how heart works every minute to keep us healthy.

4. Ask students to do push-ups first in 5 seconds and then in 15 seconds time. Count and note each students’ push-ups count. Student with maximum push-ups is rewarded, and demonstrate how time factor affects work done.
