1. Draw a circle on the blackboard and divide it into 6 parts. Shade any 2 or 3 or 4 parts. Now ask the students its fraction and also the percentage. More such circles can be drawn with more number of divisions and shade some parts accordingly for students to calculate the percentage.

2. Find out the number of absent students and present students in the class. Now ask the students to calculate the percentage of those absent and those present.

3. Place before the students a pencil, a pencil box and a book. Place a piece of paper before each item and write the cost price. Eg. Pencil for Rs 10, Pencil box for Rs 20, Book for Rs 25. Ask the students if they were shopkeepers and wanted to sell their goods at 40% profit what would be Selling price for the three items.
