1. The distance between Hyderabad and Delhi is 1674.9 km by rail. How would you express this in centimeters? Also express this in the scientific form (in the power of 10)

2. Make a team of 2 students. Write chits with numbers from 0 to 5. In a team, each student picks one chit and gets a number. Support team 1 got the numbers 2 and 4. The first student has to find value of 24 and the other student has to find value of 42. Whoever gets the higher value wins the game. Repeat the steps for 5-6 times. Add up the answers to find who is the winner in the team.

Lesson Plan version 11 activities

1. Divide class in two groups. Let one group provide one numerical expression. The other group must give the base & index in that expression. A table can be written on the board with the numbers indicated by the students. Points can be awarded for the right answers.

After three rounds, decide the group with most number of points. This is to inculcate healthy competition amongst them.
