Objective: To find area and perimeter of a given figure

Subtopics to be covered:

- Perimeter formula for triangle, rectangle, square

- Perimeter of any closed figure

- Area formula for rectangle, square

- Area of a closed figure using the formula

Learning Outcome:

- Students can find the perimeter of any closed figure given with measurements

1. Measure length and breadth of your notebook using a scale. Calculate the perimeter and area of your notebook.

2. Repeat the same for your blackboard and find the perimeter, area of your blackboard.

3. How many notebooks can cover the entire blackboard ?
