Objective: Revisit basics of Integers, relate the operations on Integers as to Whole Numbers
Subtopics to be covered:
- Numberline, Biggest and smallest number, ascending and descending order
- Compare Integers using <, =, >
- Addition and Subtraction of positive and negative integers
- Multiplication of integers ( 2 digit x 1 digit)
- Division of Integers (2 digit ÷ 1 digit)
Learning Outcome:
- Students can identify integers and arrange them in order
- Students can perform the 4 operations on integers, and solve word problems applying required operation

1. Write down random digits on your benches, eg: +4, -2, -6, +5 etc. Ask a student from one bench to tell a number. His friend will go to the bench he is asked to go and tell what is the number for his bench now. Then pick another student from another bench and repeat this step. Play this game till all benches numbers get changed.
2. Ask all students to write a number on their hands with the + or - sign (eg: +3, -4 etc) When the class assistant or the teacher shouts out a number, the students have to group themselves so that the numbers on their hands add up to the number asked for. A student who does not get any partner is out of the game. Play the game till we have a winner
