Objective: Introduce symmetry, types of symmetry

Subtopics to be covered:

- Symmetrical figures

- Axes of symmetry

- Rotational symmetry - 1/2, 1/3, 1/4, 1/6 turn

Learning Outcome:

- Students can identify whether a figure is symmetric or not

- They can find the axes of symmetry for a symmetric figure

- They can identify symmetric figures when rotated by an angle

1. List any 4-5 things that are symmetrical in your house, locality

2. Collect some flowers, leaves that have one or many lines of symmetry and show it in class.
