Today was an introductory class. Got an opportunity to get to know more about the students in class. Did some ice breaking activities by asking them about their hobbies, favourite sport, favourite food etc.

Just for information, the English phonics song link gives the long "o" sound for the vowel "o". While teaching reading, research shows that its best to start with all short vowels, and CVC kind of words.
