Objective: To teach the students about the solar system and various celestial bodies
Subtopics to be covered:
- Movement of the Sun (including changes in shadows and sundials)
- The moon (including phases of the moon, surface of the moon)
- Solar and Lunar Eclipse
- Stars and constellation of stars
- Galaxies in our universe
- The Solar System (including the sun, planets, asteroids, meteors and artificial satellites)
Learning Outcome:
- They know why shadows change shape during a day
- They know the different phases of the moon
- They know about the solar and lunar eclipse
- They also know about the solar system and its various celestial bodies

Divide the class into groups of four/five. Ask the groups to make a model of the solar system using objects around their house like scraps of paper, spare string, rocks etc
