Objective: Revisit lines, angles and their types

Subtopics to be covered:

- Define line segment, angle

- Compare 2 line segments, 2 angles

- Clockwise, anticlockwise measurement of angles

- Types of line -> intersecting, parallel, perpendicular

Learning Outcome:

- Students can identify type of line and angles in given set

1. Share examples of point, line segments from daily life. (example: star, bat, tubelight, side of a fan, bench, door etc)

2. Make 8-10 chits of different types of angles. Hand over one chit to one bench and ask them to enact what angle they are. Eg: If it is an acute angle, the students will stand close to middle student, if it is an obtuse angle, the students will stand far away from the middle student. If it is right angle, the students will stand on his one side and in front to depict 90 deg.

3. Make a team of 2-3 students. On student draws a line and other student has to measure, third student will confirm if the measurement is correct. Repeat this step 4-5 times. This way the students can learn how to use the scale

4. Make a team of 2-3 students. On student draws an angle and other student has to measure, third student will confirm if the measurement is correct. Repeat this step 4-5 times. This way the students can learn how to use a protractor
